Parkinson's Exercise Classes
Specialist, supportive exercise to help improve strength, balance, mobility and confidence.
For over eight years, I’ve delivered specialist exercise classes for people living with Parkinson’s in partnership with Bigger & Better Fighting Back Against Parkinson’s.
The classes are designed to support balance, mobility, coordination, strength and confidence in a friendly and encouraging environment. Exercises can be adapted, and everyone is supported to work at a level that feels appropriate for them.
We work hard, but the classes are also relaxed and enjoyable, with plenty of laughter and encouragement along the way.
Where I teach.
I currently deliver classes across Warwickshire
Warwick - Burton Green - Ettington - Meon Vale
I also offer one-to-one (face to face or online) sessions for people who would benefit from more individual support.
Community Support
The programme is supported and subsidised by local Parkinson’s branches, helping make specialist exercise more accessible to people living with Parkinson’s.
Classes are delivered by specialist instructors across the Warwickshire area, each supporting people to remain active, independent and connected.
Award Recognition
Bigger & Better was Highly Commended for Community Support at the Parkinson’s Excellence Network Awards 2023.
What to expect in class
Each class includes specialist exercises designed to support strength, balance, mobility, coordination and confidence.
Sessions may include seated and standing exercises, movement to music, balance work, functional strength and activities that challenge both the body and the brain.
Exercises can be adapted to suit different needs and abilities. The atmosphere is friendly, encouraging and enjoyable, with plenty of support, conversation and laughter.

How to join
In some cases, new participants will first speak with Emma Bracher, the Occupational Therapist, or a member of the Bigger & Better team.
This helps make sure the class is suitable and allows any individual needs to be discussed before joining.
